Help me choose:
1. TL 17s for 300$
2. 2008 Infiniti G35 - 17inch - 300$


1. Found a deal on 2005 Acura TL wheels locally, with 215/50/R17 Kumho All season tires...
From what I read, these wheels are a direct swap for a 06 Accord Coupe.
2. 17inch, 2008 Infiniti G35, tires are GoodYear Eagles 225/55/17

Please lemme know how much they are worth and is the tire size correct?

The wheels are worth around $3-400 if in excellent condition, the OEM tires for the TL wheels are 235/45-17, 215/50 is the stock Accord V-6 tire size on 7.5" wide rims, the TL rims are 8" wide.

Personally I wouldn't pay more than $500 for these rims and tires together.

Do I have the change the tires anytime soon? I read in one of the forums that the tires must be 235/xx/r17 so I am a little confused....

235/45/17 will look better. 215/50/17 will work for now.

The 235 is the width of the tire and the 45 is the ratio of height to width of the sidewall and the 17 is the diameter of the wheel. So basically the differences between the two tires are the width (the 235 is wider than the 215) and the aspect ratio of the sidewall (45 is smaller than the 50 so you'll have a tad more fender gap). Ideally the wider tires will most likely offer better performance due to the larger contact patch, but the 215's will also do just fine. :thmsup:

i really like the TL rims so i vote TL. are infiniti rims a direct fit for the accord? i thought they were different.

but IMO great price for the TLs. what condition are the tires? im looking for a set too but cant find a good one.. im looking for rims+tires as well.

Guys, I need some advise here....

Whats the right tire pressure for these wheels?

and also I feel the ride a little nosier than before. Is it just my imagination or am I missing anything here?
