Hello to all. First time poster long time reader. I have 2014 ex. Just had aftermarket amp and sub installed. Ever since, when locking doors there is no beep and no light flash. Unlocking doors, beep and lights work. Horn works as well. Settings set to beep and flash. Anyone know what may cause this?

Sounds like who ever installed the amp and sub messed up something, go complain... Check the fuse? But I doubt its the fuse...

It will beep if you push the remote button multiple times.

Pushing the button on the handle just locks no beep and no flash. However unlocking via the handle beeps and flash

If you push the lock button more than once in about 5 seconds, the car should beep.

Keyless Lock Answer Back
LOCK/UNLOCK- The exterior lights flash.
LOCK (2nd push)- The beeper sounds.

Using the handle it should beep twice and flash twice. Locking with the handle, it will beep once and flash once.

With the remote, it doesn't beep at all when unlocking but flashes twice. Locking with the remote, it flashes once and doesn't beep unless you hit the LOCK button twice within 5 seconds.

My 14 Ex 6 speed sedan beeps regardless when I use the push button on the door handle and it also beeps whenever I use my remote. You can probably program the car to be silent with remote and silent with door handle button push or to beep with the remote or beep with the door handle button push.
