I think the EXL system (7 speakers) is pretty good for a stock stereo. But other here have complained about it so YMMV.

The EX-L stereo is horrible... until you perform the audio hack. Then it becomes the audio system it should haven been in the first place.

I thought the plain ol' audio system in my '04 Accord was perfectly fine. It was only 120W and didn't have a subwoofer, but it was certainly acceptable and got the job done. When I test drove a 2014 EX-L, I loved the car... until I turned on the audio system. It sounded 10x worse than the '04 system. It was almost a deal breaker for me.

I bought a new Accord, hoping I was imagining things about the audio. Thank goodness I then discovered this forum and the audio hack. It completely changed the audio in the car (for the better).

Honda should be embarrassed that they're releasing 360W with subwoofer "premium" audio systems in Accords that sound significantly worse than their far lower specced systems from a decade ago. It shouldn't take a hack to make an audio system in a 30K+ car sound reasonable.

HOLY BATPOO, BATMAN! Why couldn't you let me know this six months ago? $29,430 for a '14 Touring? I so wish I had this info when I bought my '13 Touring in March. I might have saved close to $1,000.

If they have the same policies/pricing in fifteen years, I might make the 3 1/2 hour trip to them to buy my 2028 Accord from them.

How are their prices on extended warranties?
