NEW System update 5/24

Got in car this morning and had message SYSTEM UPDATE AVAILABLE. This is 2nd update, not one that we've previously seen reported. It addresses 3 separate sections to update. Last AUDIO section had fix for D015 error.

Unsure, but I thought I read that the telematics control unit was something to do with the unit out front? I am probably wrong since all of this tech is new to me

So I just did THREE updates. Not counting the one I did a few days back. Tonight there were three queued up....one was system something and two were Audio. I had to do each one sequentially. Apparently the Accord wants to do one at a time. So it was accept update, it downloaded, it prepared, then I shut off power and it took a few minutes to apply it, then when I powered on it told me it had completed one of the updates.

And yes as shown in the picture, TCU is where mine was downloading from. Not my smartphone and not some "3 month free trial of AT&T hotspot"

Unsure if this 11 page pdf will be a valid link, but i found this in MyGarage. It is all of the OTA updates for all of the 2023 Accord hybrid trims.

Updates completed yesterday in my Sport L. However, it seems that the welcome sound that used to play when unlocking, getting in, and then closing the door no longer happens. I thought that was worth mentioning to see if anyone else noticed the same thing.

I will pay attention next time but I didn't notice that. Is there something in the settings that needs turned back on?

More fake news.
It is all clarified right in the press kit released by Honda themselves, months ago.

Over the Air Software Updates
In addition to Over the Air (OTA) software updates to the audio/connectivity ECU, all Accords can now receive quick and secure OTA software updates to the engine control ECU and integrated control module, enhancing functionality and capability.

I’m at the dealer now getting updated. I’m told there are 5 updates for my Touring.
a couple they forced through with HDS and OBD2 port and the other three are happening right now, back to back, OTA.
