Tires are Continental ExtremeContact's dws06's. Compared to my stock Michelins with 50k on them, they ride so quiet and smooth. TBD on on the MPG impact. Speedo is off by half a mph. So far so good. I've always thought that the stock 235's look a bit too "stretched" over the wheel and ran really rough.

Give it a few thousand miles for the compound to break in thru heat cycles and some noise and some harshness will be "restored" and get worse as they wear down.

But then ExtremeContact DWSs have been known for soft sidewall since the last generation so probably not as bad as your old tires.

It's only 5/32" more sidewall but more is more I guess.
