$17,000 which is definitely not insignificant for a 10 year old Honda but this is a pretty rare bird. He had been asking $20K so I'm happy with the deal. It's at the top of blue book range for the year and I think that's justified by the condition of the car.

As a previous 6-6 owner who went down the KTune path with mods, my advice would be to leave it stock. The rasp you’ll inevitably encounter may be enough to make you regret going down the mod path. At the end, I went back and set my car back to stock. It just sounded so much better and was easier to live with on a daily basis. The one change I don’t regret was adding an exceptional brake kit from Wilwood. I made a post about it at here.
I don’t have the car anymore but I still have the brakes… lemme know if you’re interested.

I had one, a 2003 V6, and I agree with the member above. You don't need mods. Set money aside instead to maintain it in first class shape.

Oh interesting. Wasn't aware the tune would change the sound of a car. I definitely don't want it any louder. I'm leaning toward doing the rear sway bar more than anything else. Anything that would get me a little more body control in turns would be nice although I know the car is limited being front wheel drive.

Hey guys finally pulled a trigger on the 6-6, Drives amazing and it's in great condition.

Considering a K Tune and maybe a J-pipe and maybe a stronger rear sway bar but maybe not. Car is awfully nice as is.

Nice!
I put on 17" wheels with a 55 profile. I have some country roads near me so I went through 7 rims hitting potholes when I had the 18" / 45 profile. The Michelin Cross Climate were a little better than the Continentals.
Enjoy!

323K and still going strong.

It wasn’t as much the tune as it was the mods. I did HFPCs, J-pipe, and dual resonated mid pipe. It was hard to be honest with myself but when I finally could be, the car just sounded better with the stock exhaust setup. The two resonators in the midpipe were supposed to take care of the rasp but were not able to get rid of all of it. As a result, there was a region of RPMs on the tach where it just sounded not great.

Yeah from what I've read the J-pipe makes the biggest difference and also doesn't change the sound much at all. Some have said it improved MPG too which would be nice. That's the only exhaust change I would make and I most likely won't even do that. Only had the car about 10 days so hard to say LOL.

I'm curious as to which J-Pipe you had?

I don't have the 6-6 it's an Auto but have a CAI, down pipe from RV6, ATLP J-Pipe w/cat and the ATLP resonated exhaust and have no rasp or droning

That could explain the difference. I had a full RV6 setup except for the CAI which came from AEM.
For sure ..... It's why I steered clear of the RV6 J-Pipe and why they released the double rez mid pipe to help with it. Also heard the raspy was worse on the 6-6 then Autos. So at the end of the day my choice was because of that & I went with the ATLP one instead
