I'm the Eff'n Newby here in AZ. My cars only a couple week old and so far i've added the trunk lip spoiler and a K&N SRI, getting the splash guards put on later this week. Plan on doing some HIDS soon and who knows what else. Former 2007 Civic Si owner (FA5) made the lateral move to the Accord for a smoother and more roomier ride.

K&N SRI installed (easier to install than the lip)

I thought the whole purpose of the intake was to draw in cool air.

Your set up will draw in hot engine air.

:dunno:

I think they are a waste of money.

cai and sri for our cars are just for sound, not proven hp/tq added at all, honda's intake system has a good design, also i wouldn't put the mudflaps on...car looks alot cleaner without em

....but to each their own

I beg to differ. I put the splash guards on my coupe and the black trim matches the window tint beautifully. Also, anything you can do to fill up those huge wheel gaps is a plus.

and they reduce your gas mileage :thumbsdow

i like that intake actually, i'd say its pulling mostly cold air from the scoop...once your moving anyways

that is why you lower your car and go with a low offset for your wheel set up. also if you remove your resonator on your intake system you will get the same affect you are getting from a aftermarket cai/sri
