I bought a 2024 Accord Touring November 29, 2023. I really love this car. I'm having an issue though. After about five days of driving, I started getting an error chime with the message "no network connectivity".

This error is referring to the connectivity for the onboard/mfg/google whatever you want to call it interface, which uses Google Assistant and maps etc. If I press the hands-free Assistant button the steering wheel, i get a "can't connect" error.

I have a pixel 6 pro, so I use Android Auto. Wireless and wired android auto work just fine. Wireless and wired carplay work just fine. I did two types of resets. I took to the dealer and they played with it about 90 minutes and were stumped, as well. They did some type of reset that resets the car's network connections themselves. No luck.

I'm taking it back in tomorrow to drop it off for a day. I wanted to log this in case anyone else has it, or if anyone has already had this problem and can shed some light please.

I haven't had that problem, but I'm interested in following this topic, as I use a pixel 8 pro.

Am I correct in assuming that you have purchased or have a trial AT&T Hotspot services? If so, have you first tried to see if Google Build-In works as stated in the owner's manual, without your phone connected? Because there may be a conflict between Google Built-in and Google Android Auto as to which network is connected.

I am not using the hot spot. The connection should work off of the phone's network connection, I thought.

That's why I asked if you've tried to see if Google Build-In works when using the AT&T network, without your phone nearby. This is because you receive the message "no network connectivity". This may be important information for the dealer's technician.

Oh I understand. No onboard ATT, but last time dealer did connect to their service shop WiFi, and no luck.

I thought that all 2023/24 Accord Touring have AT&T network options whether you want it or not. It's just a matter of activation. Using a Wi-Fi connection or a network service connection are two different things, just like in every smart phone today. But if the wifi connection also doesn't work and the technician doesn't know how to fix it, there's not much to discuss. Replace everything with new ones.

Yes, to clarify my response, the car does have at&t option but it is not activated.
AT&T service is not activated for your use but is available to the telematics control unit (TCU) for System Updates and Data Sharing. So you can check whether the update service is working without connecting to nearby Wi-Fi. These are diagnostic steps for the technician.

I’m having the same problem with the OTA updates. It seems they want you to bring it in to fix it. Probably a ploy to get you to bring it in for “service” to get these features activated. Bunch of bullcrap.

Yes I am also having same issue

I have the same issue. My dealer said they had no idea how to fix the issues. They suggested the salesman who also knew nothing. I went home frustrated with them and called Honda of America. They sad it’s the system trying to connect to my phone which takes a few seconds. I’m able to clear the alarm if I get it and it stays clear until the next time I start the car. Apparently it doesn’t give the phone enough time to connect before it sends the alert. I don’t bother clearing it anymore. Sad the service techs don’t know how to fix the issues. Probably will go to a different dealer in the future.

I’m having same issue with my 2023 Honda Accord and my iPhone. I’ve reset everything, and I’m still having issues. So frustrating.
