what does it do? my car has sooo much wind noise that I can't even hear myself think. I'm sure you guys know what its like. So I bought this thing but i dunno. What do you guys think?

I dunno if they work, but I don't care for the look-

Mine came with a dealer-installed one. I removed it a few years ago after seeing how gunk was clogging up the drain holes. It's a little louder at hwy speeds with it removed, but no big deal. I think the car looks cleaner without that big piece of plastic riding up there. Also, what really p***ed me off when I removed it was seeing the (probably) permanent outline of it in my roof paint.

I think it cuts up the lines of the car, but it does 'supposedly' cut down air noise with the sunroof open. My friend who has a Nissan Murano has the deflector on it and loves it..

I might put it on and see how I like it. When I see a 6th gen with it on I'm like sweeeeet. I'll give it a try.

i seen 6th gens out here in so. cali, and IMO, it doesn't look good. it takes away from the look of the car.

Love deflectors. w/o the wind howls. with its silenced. As far as it being "gay", i find throwing that out for everything under the sun is a little sophomoric but i digress. I say YAY.

It DOES do its purpose...

Dunno if people realize this as well but window tint can reduce wind noise to some because it makes the window a tad thicker. Luxury cars use glass thats a lot thinker than most cars to defeat that on top of the added insulation.

haha I saw that thing yesterday when we were in your house. It looks pretty legit...
I'd just set it on top of your car in place and back away so we can get a look at what it will look like

The OEM one is a Whale. :thumbsdow

Get one from "VentVisor". @ $60, and is much smaller.

I love mine, and take it off during the winter.

what kind of window tint do you suggest?

Any tint is gonna add to the thickness of the window... I'd thinkany would.

Anyone know where to use the two hooks that latch onto the sides of the sunroof? It looks like they would scratch into the glass since there doesn't seem to be any gap between the roof and the glass where the hooks are supposed to go.

Just going by memory since it's been a few years since I removed mine...

I think the hooks get wedged against the rubber trim/gasket that surrounds the glass. The glass doesn't get touched.

The opening for the sunroof on the coupe is already small enough. I hate that the glass doesn't slide further into the roof. Adding that OEM deflector will cover up what little "open air" is available when looking up...not worth it..
