I thought you painted the engine cover. Thoese are technically ignition cover and intake manifold cover, but look great nonetheless. My i4 didn't has the intake manifold cover either, 2009.

why did you paint it blue? Isn't you car Alabaster Silver Metallic? If I would go down that way I would match it with the exterior or paint it Silver metallic anyway. It looks interesting though

It really up to personal choice and preference....

There are many variations you can do, and it's all about color contrast. There is no such thing that it should color matched with body color....:lmao:

In fact, the best thing to do is still have the valve cover painted.

Yup it comes off. There is a gasket as well. Its the Intake Manifold Cover.
