I have stock rims on my '09 coupe and want new rims but I can't afford that right now. I've heard plastidip is pretty durable and doesn't look too bad. Any color recommendations? I'm leaning towards white but I think black would look pretty clean (I have a red coupe btw). Or is plastidip just a no go?

YAY for dip. I did my winter 17"stockies gloss white. For 50bucks you cant go wrong, have been running them a few months now and they have held up really well even when i use the pressure washer at the carwash. The red/white combo would look good but from expierence its soooooooo hard to keep the white clean. If you do them be sure to buy the red H stickers on ebay. Too many people ask me if their powercoated or if i have some type jdm wheel lol

Mo5751, it's just regular plasti dip with no glossifier. I enhanced the picture a little bit to bring out the black on the wheel. Here's a combination of the original pic and the enhanced one. ImageUploadedByAG Free1363913023.779632.jpg
In person it actually looks like the picture I uploaded earlier.

Plasti dip on the trim, hate that chrome look,
Plasti dip on rims does not look good.
My opinion, good luck.
