Had to park outside last night cause my garage door opener broke. In the morning it was in the single digits. Didn't think the cold was going to be a problem, but once I started my car and turned the wheel, the power steering pump made some very unwelcome noises. Once the car warmed up the noise mostly went away, but it's still making more noise than normal when I turn the wheel? Is it possible that the cold weather damaged something?

Forgot about that TSB! Need to change that fluid anyway. Thanks!

Done! Replaced O-Ring. New Fluid. Total cost was $6. Took 10 minutes. Noise is gone. Sweet!

Only issue was that my Stiffy was in the way ...
