Hi all:
Have 212K on my 2011 i4 LX-S Coupe.
The Power Steering has been loud for most of the 5+ years I've owned the car (since 125K).
This year it got MUCH louder. I have done the inlet / outlet seal replacement which helped a fair bit but it was never quiet as it should be. And now much louder.
Sounds like a bad bearing to me - put long screwdriver on it running and Bingo! super loud noise there and not for example my alternator which I recently rebuilt with brushes.
The FSM manual for '2008-2010' doesn't seem to show a bearing. But I am sure I HEAR the bearing failing loudly.
Also not sure where to find the 2011 rebuild kit aside from a "Kotek' brand one on eBay for $24 ish that I thought had a bearing but zoomed up it looks like a large seal instead.
Do I have to buy bearing separetly from Honda? Or is there not one in the 2011 4 cylinder engine (?) RockAuto doesn't list a rebuild seal kit for 2011 (only circa 2008 models).
Would this be similar to FSM rebuild or the JohnNH 7th gen link here?:

Also it spit / sprayed line of PS fluid since I owned it. Small seals mostly stopped this but it still weeps fluid from the main body seal. And reservoir is air bubbly / foamy.

Power Steering Pump Rebuild
For about $20 you can completely rebuild a Honda Accord 2007 Power Steering Pump (including bearing, seals, O-rings and slipper seals). Attached is a step-by-step write-up on how I rebuilt mine. Hope you find it helpful! Happy Holidays! John
