Two 12" Memphis Subs in a ported box & a 1000W matched amp for 700 bucks from a friend worth it?

how old and what condition?
also what type of music do you like?
and how much space in your trunk are you willing to loose.
i need my trunk really often so i have a single 10 in that sits on the right side it is an RE SX and i am putting a 1200watt rms phenox gold amp in a custom built and rhino lined ported box. i have $800 in the 3 pieces and it will get really loud it got me a sound violation last month, and the cop was a ways away when he spotted me.:thumbsdow

so it just depends on what it is and how it sounds.
but i would just look them up online and see what each item is worth and see if your getting a good deal. boxes you can just add about 200 for a really nice one and 100 for an ok one. some pics or model numbers would help.

depends on what you are looking for. those products are good but be prepared to spend just as much on speakers and headunit because you need good speakers and headunit to match those subs and amp

I would definitely look somewhere else if I were you. On some of the car audio forums, a lot of the people run Audiopipe amps because you can get one that puts out 1500w RMS @ 1 ohm for around $150, and they will do rated. And subs shouldn't cost too much. If that is too much power for those subs, then they are definitely not worth the money.

Edit: You can also bridge two of the Audiopipes together to get 3000 watts. That's not bad for 300 dollars.

I have 2 12s mojos with amp. I paid around 1K..so if they are used i think 500 should be a decent price
