Hey everyone. My son is moving to a state that requires a front license plate and the 2021 accord he will be taking with him doesn’t have the bracket installed. I understand the process is pretty simple but I was looking for any kind of official instructions to make sure we are mounting it in the correct place so it doesn’t interfere with the radar sensing pack.

Checked the honda parts site, found the part, but no instructions. Found a video on YouTube but it shows a different bumper and different radar pack.

Also the kit came with these 4 rubber bumpers in the same bag as the screws (see photo) and I have no idea what they are for. Are they related or for something else? Can anyone help me clear this up? Thanks.

Line up the upper edge of the of the bracket with the first "rail" of the front grille, right below the Honda emblem, and vertically centered on it. The bracket has two slots on either side of the back that line up with second and third "rails" down. You should not be able to slide the bracket anywhere once is located where it belongs. The 3 pre-drilled holes on the sides and center of the bracket (shown in the recessed areas of the bracket), should sit flush against the solid horizontal area of the front grille between the second and third "rails". Use the 3 black self-tapping screws on your picture and drive them through each of those holes, being careful not to over-tighten them. Then mount the license plate lining up the holes on the plate with the two top and bottom locations on the bracket.
The 4 rubber bumpers are used to plug some openings on the underside of the car, if theyare not already. These openings are usually plugged by the car dealer at the time of delivery.

Those are body plugs that are not always installed at delivery. (Mine weren't.) They go just behind the front wheels and just in front of the rear wheels. They're for tiedown hooks used when transporting the car from the assembly line to it's final destination.

Thanks. Will check out your instructions..

Should I be concerned these plugs weren’t installed?
I am not concerned about my car not having those installed. The bag I received with my license plate bracket didn't even come with the screws or plugs.

Ok thanks for the reply. I followed your instructions and installed the plate bracket in about 5 minutes. Mostly time to clean the bumper and just make sure it was as perfectly straight, centered, and as high as possible within that few mm of wiggle room (to clear the Radar sensor as best as possible.)

Thanks for the description. It was perfect.
