I have a 2003 Honda Accord LX 4 cylinder with the single disk CD changer. I have the infamous buzz pop issue. I want to buy an upgraded radio but still Honda with either the six disc CD changer or the dual zone climate control setup. Has anybody ever taken the single disc CD changer radio setup and upgraded it to either the six disc setup where the dual zone setup, and if so is it a direct drop in? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Completely different wiring. You might be able to DIY it if you're confident rewiring and soldering but the single zone has a dial for heat whereas dual zone has buttons, etc. it's totally different.
So I'll just upgrade to single zone / six disc. That should work, right?

Yes. I'm sure there's many posts about DIYs for this.

And, like I said, if you're confident with wiring I'm sure you could rig up the dual zone to work but I'm not sure why you'd want a cosmetically dual zone climate control system for a single zone car, that's just my $.02, though.
