IT's quicker just go for a drive and pull the parking brake up a notch. If it's slowing ya' down then they're working.It "can" be normal....but did you lube the slider pins and make sure the brakes actually brake?
As stated by 2006accord4, jack up the rear and hand spin the tires, then apply the brakes. Thar be your answer!
I thought I replied to this thread, but maybe closed the tab before hitting submit, but I'm in the same boat as OP. Fresh rotors, hundreds of miles since install, and barely any wear. They worked fine stopping me from 25 mph and yes I lubed the slide pins and whatnot.
