Viper, Python, Clifford. They are all made by DEI, just different designs. I have the Viper 5901 pair that with an idatalink module you'll be golden.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I heard many people who do get aftermarket remote starters it seems to that their cars end up with more problems in the long run...

IMHO I feel it depends on where you got it installed... Anyone can say they can install an alarm but I went on the Viper website and found an authorized dealer. My friend got a hack job installation on his civic and now hes shopping for a new car. Only time will tell if any problems will come up but so far so good...
