my audio screen went black and i want to attempt the DIY posted in the stickied forum before i shell out money at the stealership - i tried to google how to remove the cd player but came up short on a DIY w/ photos for a 2004 accord (ex-l 6 speed v6 coupe, not that i think that matters)

It's posted on here in at least a half dozen places!! Look in the area for your year or even the '03. It would be the same.

ANY accord 2003-2007, coupe, sedan, v6, I4, have the exact same instructions for removing the radio

Remove the trim around the shift knob then the coin tray. There are two screws that hold in the lower cubby. Carefully remve the lower cubby. Then remove the top vent cover and there are three more screws. Then wedge out the radio carefully. Sorry I'm typing on my itouch and wanted to keep it breif.
