The interior is so nice in the Accord but I couldn't get over the bright yellow and white warning stickers on the sun visors. I decided to get rid of them and figured I'd share with others what I did and how it came out.

The stickers are vinyl and peeled off with a bit of heat and very minimal effort. Both came off in one piece with no tearing. There was no residue or glue leftover on the visor. The color of the visor is a bit lighter where the sticker was. I tried cleaning this area with P&S Express Interior Cleaner with no effect. The slight discoloration doesn't bother me whereas the bright stickers were a huge eyesore. I took some night photos that I will post at the end of this topic and will take some day photos tomorrow.

Step 1 (Optional) - Remove the visors from the vehicle. There's a little button you push in with a small flathead screwdriver and then you rotate the visor like you were moving it towards the door window to block the sun. If you pushed the button in correctly, the visor will just fall down when you're at about 45 degrees. You can then remove the clip for the wire that powers the vanity lights and take the visors inside. These two videos helped me figure out how to remove the visors. Video 1. Video 2. You could probably get an extension cable and just do step 2 in the car but the visors are so easy to remove I chose to do step 2 at my kitchen table.

Step 2 - Use a hair dryer to heat the sticker up and pull it off. I have a Revlon RVDR5036 I bought for $20 from Walmart. You don't need a lot of heat for this. Just hit the corner of the sticker with heat for about 30 seconds and you should be able to use your fingernail to peel the corner up a bit. Then you can grab onto that corner and as long as you have the hair dryer hitting the sticker it will easily peel away from the visor. The hot air from the dryer is very hot so you may want to use needle nose pliers to grab onto the sticker instead of your fingers. I chose to just burn my fingers.

Step 3 - Reinstall the visors. You just reattach the wire clips and stick the visor in the hole and rotate it back towards the windshield. You'll hear it snap into place and you're all done.

Bonus Tip - If the bright amber light for the passenger airbag annoys you like it does me you can pick up these LightDims stickers off Amazon for $3.50 that will reduce the brightness by a good bit. I used the pre-cut rectangular sticker (top left corner in the image on the Amazon link) and it fit perfectly. Definitely makes driving at night nicer as I find that light a bit distracting.

@cajun very interesting on the sticker. That dumb yellow light is something that has been annoying me on the Pilot and so it will annoy me on the Accord too. I don't for the life of me know why they changed the approach where a light needs to be shining as a beacon to let one know that the airbag isn't primed because nobody is riding in the pax seat. On my 2014 Accord the manual clearly states that the pax airbag won't fire either if nobody sitting there, but no yellow beacon in the night to keep announcing something. It's not a caution or a warning item that the driver needs to attend to. It is just a basic function of the car. Why aren't there also three other lights that shine bright green all the time to announce that the driver airbag WILL activate, or the side curtain will, etc. Just seems unnecessary for this yellow light to exist. Maybe it is some new government rule or something

Wait, so the passenger airbag off light now lights up even if the seat is empty?

In the past it would only light up if the seat is occupied but the weight is low enough to trigger the weight cutoff.

Yes
I know "first world problems" but it is the dumbest logic in the world to my brain. Like I said makes no sense to me why it needs to appear as a yellow caution light right in the middle of the whole dash. Lots and lots of people drive cars with the pax seat empty. Shut off the freaking airbag automatically just as you have in the past. Just don't keep yelling it in my ear (or eyes I guess) the whole time

The air bag off light on the Crown Victoria was in the center passenger dash and was so bright many pushed the light through to behind the trim.

Hard to believe the visor area surrounding the sticky would already be faded. So is it a glue residue, matted down because the sticky was applied under pressure, or..?

When I got my '16, that sticky started peeling off driver's side visor from a corner within weeks. Dealer "did me a favor" and yanked it off completely, leaving a similar rectangular spot. Made them replace the visor under warranty because, IMO, the spot looked worse. And pretty soon after that, I stopped noticing the sticky...

There's no residue at all that I can tell. The fabric feels exactly the same in the discolored area. I plan on taking the visor off when I get home and hit the area with the hair dryer a bit and see if it starts to feel tacky like maybe there is some type of adhesive there that I can't feel when it's room temperature.

I wonder if you could buy replacement visors that match the color but don't come with the stupid sticker? I don't have kids and don't plan on having kids so I don't need a bright colored warning about child seats.

Take a ziploc bag of ice and apply it to the area several times, then use a soft brush. That works well on tight nap carpets that have been crushed by furniture. Not promising, but something to try.
