Hi All,

I own a 2009 honda accord ex-l v6 with navi/bt
31,500 miles currently
rear brake pads need replacing...down to 2mm already
fronts are fine

looking a replacing with ceramic racing pads and cross drilled/slotted rotors all around.

what name brands do you recommend and how much do they cost on average?

I bought Napa ultra premiums before and the pads lasted 60k miles
rotors bought at time were AEM cross drilled and slotted...lasted 100k

thanks for any advice and help....

Not sure if you are looking for advice from first hand experience but you can check Tirerack.com to see some choices available.

Lots of threads on the topic.

Ceramic compound is great.

No reason to put anything but a blank/plain rotor on the rear...besides looks.

I like Akebono Proact Ceramic Pads. Mine is a 7th gen, I just replaced my brake fluid and rear pads, resurface rotors for 332 tax included. If you dont need the brake fluid changed it should run 250-300 range for rear pads only.
