Go for it, its good oil
Was RP a sponsor? Haven't watched that show in a while but it seems like they're always touted RP so it makes me wonder.I guess well lets see we spend 20-40k on our cars and then try to save $3 on a quart of oil. I am sure that just about all of the top of the line stuff is better than we need for these cars but I also remember seeing an episode of HP tv where a ls1 camaro made something like 7hp or so just from an oil change with RP.
good point did not think about that looks like I have brain washed . But I have run in in my miata and have done 300 or so laps at wide open around Palm beach International raceway over revving and missing downshifts and so many mistakes when I was learning and the motor just took everything I could throw at it so I figured that in a street driven car it would be a cake walk for it.Was RP a sponsor? thanks for the link. I just read it but I am no engineer and looks like Ams signature oil and penzoil are the 2 best Royal purple and mobil 1 did not score very wellhttp://wpc.1c96.edgecastcdn.net/001...esting Archives/g3115-2013-current/index.html
Have at it. Given, it's data being provided by Amsoil, but if the tests are performed to industry standards then it should be legit.
Keep in mind that any of the oils tested are probably "good enough" to use in your engine. It's just a matter about how anal you want to bethanks for the link.
