Everything I read said 2008 TLs still used the 5 x 114.3 wheels.The 120 pattern started in 2009. So I got some wheels from a 2008 and guess what . . 5 x 120 :crying

I'm not a Honda guy. I'm a retired Auto Instructor and Mustang restorer. Shame on me not knowing what to look for.

No, shame on the seller!

Ask for all your money back, including shipping, etc...
I agree with @Ronch. You knew the correct question to ask, and he provided bad information. Demand your money back, or go through PayPal or your credit card company to stop payment if necessary.

I figured I’d have to use conical but was unsure about the size because Mustang wheels use 14x1.5 lugs and was hoping that wouldn’t be an issue lol
12x1.5, conical seat

same as you'd use for any wheel that's not oem honda tbh. honda/acura/older mazda-based fords/mazdas all use it so that size is easy to find at parts stores

edit: if your concern is the difference in diameter, get some hubcentric rings so you're not trying to locate the wheels entirely with the lugs and you'll be fine
