Two relatively new service bulletins to take note of-

10-024 XM radio cuts out- you need a new XM module

10-050 Power driver's seat judder- you need a new seat track

Parts are now available for these repairs.

Finally they come up with a solution to fix the juddering on the seat.

Only almost 3 years later..........

How about the service bulletin numbers? or PDFs?

obviously seat judder it was not a priority for Honda. I found this sort of by accident. The service bulletin is dated 8/28/10 so it's quite recent. It was actually a no brainer- stronger seat rail is the solution. Our 2002 Odyssey has power seats that are smooth. Prior BMWs, Volvos, Audis, Nissans and a Pontiac or two had no problem with a juddering seat, so it's not exactly a new technology that needed to be perfected. I presume that in an effort to save cost or weigh or both, Honda used lighter/cheaper seat rails which ultimately were unsuitable.

I asked my dealer to order the new parts for me but seems they can not order the new parts until I come in for service, complain about seat judder, and then they can order the parts. I will wait until I need to bring the car in for soemthing. Unfortunately, this will mean two trips. I also have a bad XM tuner- cuts off intermittently- so I will need a new XM unit too.

I found the 10-050 PDF by a simple google search but I couldn't find the 10-024.

Fill in the www. if needed.

PROBABLE CAUSE Excessive weight on the driver’s seat makes small
indentations on the seat frame rails.
What are they saying about their customers?? :D

This happens to mine with the XM. Glad to hear there is a fix.

dont have the seat issue i think lol
but i do notice my XM cut out often

i dont have a seat problem cause its only in one position, but the xn, it cuts on and off in the same spots on the highway, i think its just lack of signal

My XM is always cuts out. I listen to cnbc on XM radio and just as they talk about something important the xm cuts out for 10 seconds and I miss what they.
Drives me crazy.

My car is approaching the 36k miles and I'm just about to pass my warranty so I took it in for service "scheduling a loaner in advance" and complained about the radio. I knew they would need to order this part...so they are ordering me a new one and I have a loaner for 2 days. I think a road trip too Atlantic City is justified...

Thanks guys for this info. Hopefully it stops cutting out.

I need to go back to them about this seat juddering thing as I also experienced that.

Tech says I need new rear brakes. I just replaced it 8k miles ago (new honda rotors and pads). Going with aftermarkets for sure like EBC or Hawk.
