obviously seat judder it was not a priority for Honda. I found this sort of by accident. The service bulletin is dated 8/28/10 so it's quite recent. It was actually a no brainer- stronger seat rail is the solution. Our 2002 Odyssey has power seats that are smooth. Prior BMWs, Volvos, Audis, Nissans and a Pontiac or two had no problem with a juddering seat, so it's not exactly a new technology that needed to be perfected. I presume that in an effort to save cost or weigh or both, Honda used lighter/cheaper seat rails which ultimately were unsuitable.
I asked my dealer to order the new parts for me but seems they can not order the new parts until I come in for service, complain about seat judder, and then they can order the parts. I will wait until I need to bring the car in for soemthing. Unfortunately, this will mean two trips. I also have a bad XM tuner- cuts off intermittently- so I will need a new XM unit too.
