Thanks. It'll eventually get dropped on Eibach pro kit springs, I do want the HFP front lip eventually, as for the rear, if I ever get my hands on those small decklid spoilers...

You generally have plenty of room for vertical travel even when slammed. Likewise, the springs you mentioned are for short term thinkers and probably won't do any magic in reducing that gap.

When Mikey mentioned sunk in he was referring to your offsets and not the nonsense you mentioned in caps. It's not a fad (except for a few Japanese car makers I guess) to have the wheels more even with the body line

I do think the rice stickers are a little premature on an essentially stock 4 banger but whatever floats your boat.

Why exactly are drop springs "short term thinking"? Not everybody wants coilovers. Eibachs are fine for my needs. They cut the wheel gap in half which is what I want.

As for the sunk in comment, I knew it was about the offset. But the offset are 38 on my wheels. Tell me how that's sunk in when they do sit right to the wheel well opening?

Considering the installation of coils is actually a bit less work than springs, offer a longer life, more customizable, etc the choice is clear to me. A lot of people can't escape the old school mentality that springs are how cars are lowered, despite the availability of far better modern options.

If you're using OEM style struts, they do wear out quickly. I'm not going with something like that. I do want Tokico blue struts, which are meant to work with lowering springs. The shop I work at has Tokico blue and Tokico Illumina struts, the Illuminas are meant for only use with lowering springs, since the dampening is fully adjustable.

I have access to Koni struts as well, but I need to look more into that.
