My car used to throw codes for misfires of all cyls when spark plugs needed replacement. The coils in these cars rarely fail. I would just get a new set of NGK Laser Iridium plugs and clear the codes. Then see what you get. Beware of eBay or Amazon for plugs. I'd stick to local parts stores or Rock Auto.
That's good to know because my heart dropped after seeing the price of the coils.

In my experience, I've come to discover the misfire codes don't always pertain to the spark plugs, ignition coils, etc.

When my car was running really lean it caused the engine to misfire. I tried my best to find a vacuum leak and replaced unnecessary parts only to discover the misfire codes never reappeared after replacing the O2 sensors. Go figure.
Interesting that you brought up the O2 sensor. I'm also getting a code that the O2 sensor is bad too. I'll change them both at the same time and see what happens.

The joys of getting a used car.

I bought parts store coils to replace a few of mine. The car actually ran worse. Went to the Pull A Part junkyard and snagged some OEM coils off other j series engines. Problem solved.

Wait...are you that guy with the million-mile Accord? Read articles and watch vids about your accord. If that's you...very nice!!! Question...how many miles did you have on the Accord before having to replace the transmission?

That's me and that's my car.
My car's thread is in the 7th gen photo gallery forum here and linked in my signature.

The original transmission got 320k on the original fluid (oops) before I swapped it out. That has been my biggest mistake and lesson learned with this car. I've learned a lot and gained a lot more confidence in my wrenching skills along the way. At 320k, we installed another transmission from a salvage car that reportedly had 54k on it so this transmission has well over 700k on it now.

I've tried to have one of the most well documented journeys to a million that you'll find. I didn't start writing about the car til nearly 600k because I didn't really see this as a goal or possiblity long ago.

Did a power steering pump rebuild from the guide here and a YouTube video. Something went horribly wrong. Fluid was leaking pretty much everywhere. Gonna take my girlfriends car to the junkyard tomorrow to snag a donor until I can figure out how and where I screwed up. Should’ve started this project on Saturday…

Update: I went to the junkyard and pulled the ps pump from an ‘06 that was new to the yard. The only difference I could find was the location of the inlet hose, this pump is the newer version with the inlet moved slightly towards the center of the car. Anyway, the car was on stands and my tools were out, so todays work only took about half an hour. I pulled off the old pump, threw on the donor, and bled the system. It was pretty easy after doing it twice yesterday haha

third edit: lkq price for the pump was $49 and change

After playing around with the settings, I was finally able to have the time adjustment reflected on the dash. My ride is a 2005 Sedan Accord w/Navi.

For two years the clock stopped syncing after I disconnected the battery performing repairs. Google/Forum search revealed this to be a widespread, if not worldwide, problem among older Accords.

I can't believe I found a fix. Not sure if permanent but every time I turn the car off & back on the corrected time is still displayed. Now I'm afraid to disconnect the battery to know for sure. LOL

Nothing too crazy. Just got a pair of Honda license plate frames for the car. I was hoping the local dealerships had the chrome frames that said Honda or Honda Accord, but they only had CR-V, Odyssey, Civic, etc.

Making plans to change out the lower balls joints and the control arm bushings. Maybe I'll inspect the engine mounts tomorrow too. Whenever I accelerate I feel a some vibrations through the gas pedal and steering wheel. So I suspect something in the engine bay isn't damping the vibrations from the wheel or something below the car.

I had the wheels checked when the new tires was put on and they were all straight.

Installed auto dimming mirror. Worth it's weight in gold. Everyone here drives with high beams always on. Or they have headlight conversions/retrofits that scorch the retinas.

Had to fab wire harness. Unable to find factory harness.
Was lucky to have a connector that fit the mirror.

Be very careful- I went to install this same license plate frame and my top right screw snapped the head right off, and the thread is stuck in the car now.

more noise than vibration, but yeah, people always over looks this little work horse. It won’t be easily identifiable with putting roll strain on the vehicle, won’t be more or less noticeable cornering, but it’s also a suspect.
Mine showed up most obvious on the highway under accel like somoneone was tapping my feet with a hammer.
