Hey, just wondering what % you guys in So Cal are tinting
freakin cops are pulling ppl over for the tiniest of things now

I was thinking of going 20-25% on rear and 4 windows for the 08 sedan

i was looking it up and apparently the 70% was in 1999
but now as of 2005 its illegal to have any tint on the windshield and driver and passenger windows. . .

I have a cousin in the bay area with limo tints on all this windows still hasn't been pulled over and its been 4 years :lmao:

I live in Southern California & I have tinted windows on all of my cars, as do most people in CA. The thing is it is just luck of the draw with the cops hitting you with a window tint ticket.

I am not good with ther % of the tints, but I have been getting "dark", which is the shade right under limo. I got all windows, except windshield tinted the same, I do not like to the look of lighter tints on the front windows.

No, in CA any tint on the front windows is illigal, you can tint the back as dark as you want with out any problems
