When i was changing some power steering fluid from the cylinder with a turkey baster some of the fluid dripped onto the serpentine belt. i mean maybe a squirt. I tried to wipe it down with water real quick but it seemed to soak in right away. is PS fluid corrosive and will it screw up the serpentine belt?

I had my helper spill half a bottle on that area including on the belt when I was changing out mine. He wasn't paying attention and just poured it in. I think I did change out my belt because it was soaked in the fluid.

I'd say wipe it off with a rag, and there shouldn't be enough left over to hurt the belt.

PS fluid is pretty mild. It won't hurt anything. Just drive the car and forget about it.
