I posted a thread earlier about identifying a certain engine mount. I know what the mount is, but now that I found the part I need to know if I can replace this on my own? or if its too labor intensive and a shop should do it?

I talked to a guy at goodyear and he said he wasnt sure how to fix it. It does not look too difficult except for locating the vertical bolt that attaches the mount to the frame. I enjoy working on my car and dont mind if it takes all day.

Please help!!

Here is another picture of the mount

It take 10mins to swap out. Only held in place by 3 bolts.

instructions

thanks for responding. That is really good news! I have all these ideas in my head that something may collapse if I take the entire mount off. Is there anyway you could point me towards any instructional material or youtube videos? I have not been able to find any. Thanks!

Thanks

Thanks man! I did get this fixed a while back. Pretty much did it the exact same way. Those are good instructions. Simple job. Good luck!
