It is quite self explanatory. Check some YouTube videos before proceeding. Those most important thing is to have a heat gun to soften up the metal to prevent cracking.Anyone in Columbus Ohio got a fender roller? I have never used one and don't feel confortable.
body shop, muffler shop, any good all purpose repair shop...I just found a great one...What type of place does it... a body shop?
Usually the places that rent them will do the job for you for a fee. A good wheel shop that does radical fitments for the local import community, or a local speed shop should be able to do it as well. What type of place does it... a body shop?
Just make sure the shop has an actual and legit fender roller such as the one in the picture I posted (on the previous page, post #173). Its a roller that any legit shop that claims to do fender rolling must have. I bought mine when I worked part time at a shop back in the day. What type of place does it... a body shop?
It is quite common for aftermarket springs to significantly reduce the life of OEM shocks/struts.Hey guys. New Accord owner here. This is the first large car I've ever driven. My previous cars have been a '98 Integra with full suspension and an '11 CRZ that only had springs and RSB.
My question is, I drove around the CRZ for almost 2 years without changing out the shocks on ARK Performance springs that were a bit over 1" drop and had no problems. I'm looking to get the Eibach Pro Kit when it comes out because I'm looking for subtlety on my Accord. Am I going to have shock issues? Also, what spring do you guys recommend for a subtle drop and spring rates that will more or less be as comfortable and perform as well as the stock ones on the Accord Sport sedan?
Thanks.
Tein should be coming out with something in August, lets hope they at least make the Tein Basis system and not just springs. Of course SS would be nice.Anyone have any idea of when the better coilovers may hit the streets, I`m not taking about a exact date....Will they be here this summer...hoping hoping and more hope
ST would be nice for DD. But for anyone who is planning on tracking or AutoX, KW would be nice to have.Thank you for contacting ST Suspensions, looking at some of the other Accord applications we have not offered a coilover for that model for several generations and that alone leads me to believe that we will not be producing one unfortunately. Our brother company KW Suspensions has however offered coilovers for the last 3 generations of the Accord model and will most likely offer an application for the 2008+ model in the future sometime. Please check back with us!
Installed my D2's a few days ago along with wheels. Went with a squared setup. Pointless going staggered on a FWD.

Hay2dawood yours is looking sweet too!! What is your wheel set up in sizes and did you use the D2's aswell?Rear
Thanks. Honestly, since there was no "starting" point for me to gauge off of. I just measure the overall height of the stock strut/springs and went 2.5"-3" shorter on the coils. From there was a series of three adjustments to get the height I wanted. So if i had to say without measure my overall height from ground to top of fender, I'm guessing i'm around 2.5"??? If I come across a stock height Accord, I'll measure their's. hahaYour car looks fantastic ultraxr, How low do you have the coilovers turned down?
