I am almost ready to buy a 2013 Accord Coupe. I test drove a four cylinder one yesterday and I was surprised how nice it drove in both the Econ mode and the normal mode. I even was surprised how nice the transmission responded to the paddle shifters.

Other than those who hate the CVT transmission, does anyone have any other problems with their cars?

I fell in love with this car for the same reasons (well that and the awesome dual tone leather interior available on the black or white models). My main issue are the rims, they would have to go. What did you think of the sound system? Many are critical of it and the weak sub. It's definitely not an after market sub but it has a decent enough sound. And I imagine it would be easy enough to add a more significant sub if you really want those deep tones.

This is an enthusiast forum ...a hundred guys will chime in with 100 problems, both perceived and real.

I own an ex-l coupe...it's a great car.....go buy one.

I thought the sound system was fine. I have been exposed to loud noises over my aviation career and my hearing is not that wonderful to tell the difference.

Thanks for the advice to just go buy one.

Any other comments after driving the car for a while?

I got my '13 *** Coupe i4/CVT EX-L on Memorial day. So far, I have nearly 700 miles on the car and it has been great! According to the iMID, I'm averaging 33.6 MPG on my second fill-up. I don't really care for the Econ mode as it zaps too much throttle control for my liking, and it cuts the AC performance which in a few weeks here in TN will not be desirable. Other than that, I'm finding little to complain about. I think the CVT/i4 is a good combo. I wish it had a bit more power, but for everyday driving it's more than adequate. The car is very smooth and the CVT is willing to drop several ratios if you need a little more grunt. The engine is very quiet for a DI and the wind noise is minimal. I have the *** with the black/ivory leather and find it to be a very good looking combination. The interior materials and fit and finish are both very good. Not quite up to Acura levels, but not too far off. At first I thought the stereo sounded worse than my '12 Si, which had the same system. But after a few weeks, the speakers must be broken because it sounds much fuller and richer now. Before, the sound was too thrashy and tinny at higher volumes. I do think Honda could have done more with the dual-screen center stack. Seems like more information could be displayed that what is available and some screens overlap. Visibility is good and the Lane Watch feature is proving very useful. Still haven't adjusted to the expanded view drivers mirror, though.

As for the CVT, I'm not entirely ready to trust it for 100k+ miles, so I plan to purchase the 8yr/120k Honda Care from Hyannis very soon.

To say I'm pleased with the car is an understatement. I think this may be my favorite car yet.

I recently bought the EX-L i4 coupe as well. After test driving the v6, I decided that the i4 was more than enough for my needs. The cvt definitely feels different, but it's much better than the Altima's, which I also tested. The sound system is good so far, I'm no audiophile by any means though. So far I'm averaging 31 mpg with 60-40 city-hwy, so it's as advertised I'd guess. I'll know more when the car is "broken in," but I'm loving it so far. Get ready to turn heads!

I hace a ex coupe I-4 (wanted a stick) and a exl sedan.. if I had the leather and other options in my coupe I would problably have not leased the coupe... the sedan is paid for...

Yeah, if they had the manual on the I-4 EX-L Coupe it would be a no brainer. The way Honda situates all the options is so odd to me.

I love mine, wish i had led drl's though.

I have owned Honda cars since 1981 and I liked it better when they had only a couple of versions. It makes it easier to purchase when there is just a 4 and a V6 which were either LX or EX.

I tested out a few of the different models, driving both the 4 cyl and the V6. In the end I opted for the EX-L coupe with the V6, I fell in love with the power of it and I really liked the extra options that came with it. I have only had it about a month or so, but no issues so far thankfully.

Manual or automatic?

Still surprised the 2013 ex-l coupe do not any leather trim in the back seats. My 2006 6/6 coupe had leather trim in the back. The salesman seemed shocked when I ponied it out to him.

I don't get the expanded view side mirror. If you set your side mirrors correctly then you eliminate the blind spot.

The drivetrain comes with a five year 50,000 mile warranty and Honda is good about repairing their mistakes up to 100,000 miles. My current Accord's transmission failed at 93,000 miles and Honda replaced it under their warranty extension.

Got the EX-L 4cyl CVT in SNP. Love the car more now then when I bought it 3 months ago. The bad: weird trim options (wanted a manual). The good: sexy, good gas, and honestly to me the audio isn't bad but maybe I'm not so picky? The reliability on Honda's are usually topnotch too so if you plan on keeping your car for a while..
