I have a 2001 Honda Accord with a V6 and automatic.I'm getting ready to replace my timing belt and not sure which kit is the right one. I have seen one at Rockauto with Gates part number TCKWP 286a the other one on Amazon with 329. My searches have shown both kits being used on the same car as mine I'm not sure which one to use. Can anyone point me in the right direction.

I just installed this kit TCKWP286A from rockauto on my 02' V6. The original belt that I removed was also a gates belt with Honda logo on it. Very nice kit for the price IMO. I also poured in 1.75 gallons of peak global coolant.

Rock Auto has a kit by Aisin, an OEM supplier to Honda. Best kit for a great price. Also includes tensioner bearings with new springs too.

The kit I mentioned came with koyo bearings. Not sure who makes the water pump in the gates kit but IMO the Aisin kit is way overpriced.
