Hello all, I just had winter tires put on my EX coupe today. I did not have TPMS sensors installed with the tires. I'm using 225/60/16R on steel rims, not the stock size.
I was under the impression that since I don't have the sensors, my check tire pressure light would be coming on and I was prepared to deal with it (ignore it). However, my check tire pressure light has not come on since these new tires were installed and I've been driving around town all day. This may be a dumb question but should I be talking to a dealer about the TPMS system possibly not working or is this a normal thing? Does anyone know what's going on here?
