Hello all, I just had winter tires put on my EX coupe today. I did not have TPMS sensors installed with the tires. I'm using 225/60/16R on steel rims, not the stock size.

I was under the impression that since I don't have the sensors, my check tire pressure light would be coming on and I was prepared to deal with it (ignore it). However, my check tire pressure light has not come on since these new tires were installed and I've been driving around town all day. This may be a dumb question but should I be talking to a dealer about the TPMS system possibly not working or is this a normal thing? Does anyone know what's going on here?

Why did you go with 225/60/16 instead of the 205/65/16? Typically winter tires are narrower than summer tires, not wider. EX has 215's standard so the minus size would be the 205.
I ordered 215/65/16R from my tire place and they assured me they'd be ready to go, but I went to get them put on yesterday and they tell me that they sold my tires to someone else. WTF??? :(

Since I didn't want to wait another week for the tires they found the 225/60/16 in store and put those on at no extra charge. So yes I'm bummed out about having a bigger tire than what I wanted.
