This all reminds me how lucky I was to be buying a car when I did. It was very early in the pandemic and people had no idea how or where the economy was going. I was able to buy my 2020 EXL 2.0 for just under 30k. Seeing where the car market is now makes it seem like one hell of a deal.
You got a decent price because of the shortage of computer chips. The pandemic, and any alleged fears for the economy, had nothing whatsoever to do with it.

Okay.. Thank you for clarifying that for me.
Sorry I misspoke. What I meant to say is you got a good price because you bought before the chip shortage reduced supply, thus driving up prices. I was a victim of this, only because I was foolish enough to think I was a better driver than I turned out to be, and had to buy a car at the convenience of the market, instead of my own!:D
I'd hate to be forced to embarrass myself by admitting how much I had to pay.
