Installed the heated/power/blinker side view mirror. Action crash name brand from parts geek, not an endorsement just specifiying the install.
1) Cut the harness off from both sides and spliced all lines for the connections.
2) Driver's side plastic grommet in the door is very difficult and requires a hole to be drilled or a slot pin to be used for the pass through. You could always route (blinker power source) it on the bottom of the door, but if you are a perfectionist......
3) Multimeter is a plus, I used it for checking voltage

**I choose to ground on one of the 3 screws holding the mirror in place**
