I'm hoping and waiting honda starts to offer the 3.5 V6 in the sports sedan trim. Keep the leather, extra touch screen other upscale exl options just give me a 6!! You figure they would since Toyota offers a V6 for there SE sedan??

What would that entail?

A deck-lid spoiler and 18" wheels?

3.5L already has dual exhaust.

The consensus is that there is no difference in the suspension set-up of the Sports model and any other 2.4L

Now, if you're talking about an MT in a 3.5L sedan, I'm listening, but that should be available without a special trim in my judgement.

Paddle Shifters is the main feature IMO....
I'm not a fan of paddle-shifters, especially the ones that shift for you if you don't shift soon enough.

Actually, the CVT still handles quite a lot, even in the "manual" mode.

Sorry if I am reviving an old idea but has anyone heard anything of the v6 sport? I love the fabric not a fan of normal cloth leather is a waste to me. The wheels look amazing. Dual exhaust is great. But why not a v6?? I want to wait and see if this is an option. I don't want to buy one I'm not completely happy with.

If they come out with a manual Tran, V6 Sedan.... I will cry.

You can buy a Nissan Altima V6 for $25k. Why won't Honda make a V6 Accord with less BS in it?

You can buy a Subaru Legacy or Kia Optima or Hyundai Sonata or Chevy Malibu or Ford Fusion or Mazda 6 or VW Passat with a turbo in it. Why won't Honda make an Accord with a turbo?

You can buy a Subaru Legacy with AWD. Why won't Honda make an Accord with AWD?

You can buy a VW Passat with a diesel engine. Why won't Honda make an Accord diesel?

You can buy a Dodge Charger with a 8 speed V6. Why won't Honda make an Accord with an 8 speed V6?

You can buy a Dodge Charger that's RWD. Why won't Honda make an Accord with RWD?

If you think there is a lot of b-word about our 6 speed hunting all over the map go to the Chrysler board and read how crummy those owners think the 8 speed is.

I'm sure it's like any other Chrysler transmission that goes at or before the powertrain warranty does...

Yeah yeah yeah. I know :/

We can dream right? Just think of how badass a 2015 V6 Accord type-r would be with with a stock twin scroll turbo.

All that combined would be an AWD V6 TURBODIESEL 8-SPEED ACCORD. Wow that would be awesome.

I'd venture for the same reason Honda dropped the EX V6 trim level for the 9th gen Accord: not that many people bought a V6 Accord with less content. Then again, the Accord was practically decontented for its 8thgen MMC, which probably made the EX V6 less worthy of its price, lowering sales of that model.

Heck I'd like it the other way arround. I love my EXL V6, especially the learher, but wish they had a mild "Fast and Furious" package that gave me the deck spoiler and 18" wheels for a nominal fee.

Ok so maybe some major trolling here. But I'm serious. I really don't care about leather power seats sunroofs all the other stuff. I see it as more stuff that can break or go wrong in some way. Could I just buy the most basic ex swap wheels add spoiler, and change interior? Would it be the same as sport with a v6 then?

Well no you still wouldn't have dual exhausts. Everything else can be done for a price. The interior would seem to be cost proibitive though.

Don't count on it. The V6 sports sedan is Acura's domain, and they would not want to cannibalize sales of the more expensive upcoming TLX. Also, I don't think Toyota has to worry about this since the Camry is much more downmarket vs Lexus than the Accord is vs Acura.
