Hi there,
My girlfriend's son has a 2002 two door Accord, V6. It has new brakes, tires, water pump. Interior is phenomenal. I wish he could keep it but we have found out it needs engine cradle and brake lines themselves. The engine is amazing as is transmission. Any idea what the lad should ask for it. He can afford to fix it. Thanks!

No location provided
No mileage listed
Don't know what type of transmission (auto or manual) it has
No condition of body/exterior stated
Don't know if it's ever been in an accident
No mention if timing belt has ever been replaced

= You might have better luck here

Ontario, Canada. Body is great except right rear number. No accidents, timing belt was just replaced when water pump done. 233,000 kms. Automatic transmission. His mom helped him until we realized the extent of work now needed. Hope that helps.
$2000
Might also want to think about the value of its utility. It is a car that you know its maintenance history. If it is running strong today, tracking straight, if there is not much of a rust issue, how much is such a car worth to you?

Besides, it is made in an era where Honda was at its height of its quality. Also the 2-door accord is just killed, which for me adds to its value. Finally, that body reminds me of Nissan Silvia, which is another sweet ride.

What I remember is totally different. I remember a lot of failing transmissions, clearcoat problems and fading/peeling paint, the ignition switch/park interlock recall, multiple airbag recalls,.....

Demand for cars has been and is still in a decline. More so for coupes. And since OP is in Canada,....
