I took the right front speaker off for upgrading after rain, and found that the speaker was wet. Water went into the door! The cable seen from the speaker well was also wet, and there was a little water in the well bottom. No way to know this if not taking out the speaker that time! Am I alone?

You were replacing it anyway, so what's the issue? It's a known fact that door spakers are going to get wet in some way, shape or form. When the rain hits the window, where do you think that water is going to go?

By the way, a replacement factory speaker is $7.65, while the factory tweeters are $19.12 and the factory subwoofer is $43.62....

Guys, come on! Are you suggesting the OP must replace his front speakers each time it rains?

OP is your car built in NA? Hope it's not something like $30k:frown
