Water Retention in LX rear door frame

Just curious if anyone else has experienced this issue. We had heavy rains on Friday night and Saturday morning when I went out to put in my new Weathertech's I opened the rear passenger door and water spilled out of the bottom. The rear drivers door had a bit of water in the door frame also but not as much. I'm definitely going to call the dealer about this just seeing if anyone had the same problem and if there was any issues with dealers getting it fixed.

Not normal. Look at the rubber seal on the bottom of the door to see if it is out of position. There are holes in the door frame that it snaps into. If nothing looks out of place, take it to the dealer.
Yep, have an appt for tomorrow. Getting all 4 doors checked for good measure.
Water on the painted rear door sill area -- from the bottom of the window down -- is a characteristic of the 9G sedan. All door sill areas are a pain to keep clean on this car.
Service told me they're going to check the drain ports for blockages.
i'm surprised that they didn't tell you "oh, they all do that".
my car does that too, it doesn't "pour" water out, but there is water that manages to go on the kickplate of my car

4 door sport
I don't know what the 9G looks like on the inside, but I get water on my 8G door sills when it rains. It's outside the weather striping though, so I don't really care too much. Just ****s to keep clean.
