ac only blows hot air and only at the maximum setting or can turn off completely. so I assumed for the second problem I needed a new resistor. but having cold air is more important than speed of air obviously. well we took the car to an auto ac specialist place for free inspection. they said I need a new blower control module. they would charge $125 for the part and $216 for labor. that seems high to me. isn't this something located behind the dash under glove compartment or am I all wrong and it's under the hood and an intense replacement job. I would like to do it myself but I'm not exactly sure what part they're talking about, is that the same as resistor? don't think so. but..help please
