Now I have had my vehicle since August 08, yesterday I was cleaning my accord (after winter cleaning) and I noticed a switch I had not seen before.

The switch is located on the drivers side to left of the steering wheel under the dash near the wiring harness.

I have no idea what this switch does so I started looking through the manual. I found nothing I tried playing with it but could not figure out what it is for.

My first thought was interior illumination, but it does not seem to be the case.

Can anyone give some insight?

I can't believe that this thread gets more comments than a thread I posted about brakes. Well, I can believe it because 90% of individuals who post here, barely know anything automotive. This forum is turning into crap, it really is. I mean, who asks about a button on the left hand side and doesn't post a pic. There's at least 3 buttons there. This is ridiculous. I really wish I had the self control to never, ever visit this site again.

Yeah, i'll be back. By the way, Gen 3 (2004-2007) Acura TL Base Model (3.2L engine) has the same front brake discs as the 2008/9 Honda Accord V6 6MT. So if you are looking for after market rotors, consider this a freebie.

it is actually probably the drop down nitrous tank in the trunk and it also opens up the extra unknown 2 cylinders for 8 total making the bhp soar to 415 hp at the wheels

Yup that is the Nitrous Button... it says so in Very FIne Print. If your engine blows up before you come to a complete stop you press it again to activate your spare rocket booster from the rear which gives you an extra 1000 pounds thrust. :nuts:--- after all that... you press it to turn your alarm off.. <--- if your talking about the black housing with a button in the middle. :nuts:
