Just picked up my brand new 18' Touring yesterday! It's my first car (always had trucks) since I was 16. I am in love with it. I am looking at getting new wheels for it. I opted not to go with the black 19's from the dealer, as I would like to stick with 17", possibly 18". My question for those of you who have gone with aftermarket wheels, what offset are you getting away with? I am having a difficult time finding 55mm offset. The sets I like the most are 42mm, but I am a bit worried they may rub. Looking for any and all feedback, and this is my first post here, glad to find this place!

That's what I thought and was hoping but I have found conflicting information pointing towards 45mm and 55mm. I went to the local tire shop today where I have been going for years and the owner said they were 55mm. I wonder if I can somehow measure them but I think the tire has to be off? Or, I just roll the dice and get the 42's.

Mine are 17x7.5, and there are 2 different offsets listed. Maybe I should pull a wheel and see if I can find it listed on the back. The 19x8.5 were a $2,200 option that I passed on in hopes of getting aftermarket for less than $1K.

I think I have a plan, I am taking the car into the local dealer where the Service manager is a family friend. I am getting the rear usb outlets installed. I'll ask him to pull a wheel and confirm the offset. I'll report back with what I find out in case someone else has the same question. Thanks for the feedback so far.

^^^^Those are nice, and aren't making my decision any easier! One quick question for those of you who have bought new wheels, did you buy new TPMS sensors and if so, is one better than the other? Just want to make sure I get the right ones. Below are the 3 I've narrowed down to so far, although now I want to check the Enkei's

No TPMS sensors on the 2018 Accord. Those hybrid rims are hideous. Still a lot of value in the OEM tires so hopefully you can reuse them.
Awesome, thank you and I agree with the stock wheels. I am planning to use the tires. So, am I correct in that all I need is the wheels (free mounting kit) and wheel locks? I plan to take them to my local tire shop and he said he can just swap the tires. I just want to make sure I buy everything I need before going in to minimize my time without my car.

I got the wheels installed yesterday and I really like them. They feel like a subtle increase in style but not too much for me. As for the sound resonance devices in the wheels, they are not able to be transferred over and I can actually tell a slight difference in noise with the new rims without them. Not a big deal and worth the trade off. Here are a couple pics which are just quick snaps and nothing exciting.

The new wheels are 17” as I wanted to preserve as much of the stock ride quality and mpg as possible. I only have 150 miles on the car and I reused the tires that came with the car because when I looked them up online they had great reviews and were quite pricey. I can’t recall the make and model, but will reply back after I go look. As for the sound, I “think” the stock wheels are a tad quieter, but it’s a very subtle difference to my ears. I’m almost always listening to music so the ride of the car is very quiet compared to my last 3-4 vehicles which were trucks. The new wheels are 3lbs lighter each as well. Overall it was worth the trade off for me. I think if you have no music on and you’re trying to focus on the sound of the tires, then you might detect a difference as this is what I did because I was aware of the resonators in the stock wheels. Had I not known about them and someone just swapped my wheels out, I honestly probably wouldn’t hear any difference.

The stock tires are Michelin Energy.
