Just picked up a 99 Accord EX and it needs a new auto tranny. Trying to locate a repairable entire car to either swap in a 5spd or pull the auto and part out the rest to recoup some costs.
So...my question for you guys is what other year Accords have the same tranny that my 99 4cyl auto has?

Your transmission should have a code like BAXA or MAXA on it somewhere. As long as the replacement trany has the same code it should work (98 to 02 Accords). Some ECMs got upgraded transmission flashes, but I think they work regardless.
