I am about to do my 105k service and I need to know what waterpump to get. I had a problem with my wife's TSX, getting non OEM waterpumps that wont fit. For the TSX the OEM part only fit her car. Will this be the same issue with the Accord V-6? I am looking at the o-relly auto part store at brands such as, masterpro and cardone.

I think it is hit and miss on non oe stuff to be honest. I will just buy oem when it comes time for me. I had problems with non oe water pumps before too actually.

OEM only. Its not worth it for aftermarket junk if it fails. Then you lose the timing belt, along with lots of other stuff.

Go with Aisin. They make the waterpump for Honda and sell a complete kit including the pump, belt, tensioner, tensioner pulley and idler pulley. I paid like $215 delivered from an online seller.

Aisin IS oem. Next time look an original Honda waterpump. It says on it, Honda and Aisin. The one you get in an Aisin box just says Aisin and is 20-30 percent cheaper then you can get at a Honda dealer because of that. Still the same pump.
