It's an intake filter. A relative of mine bought a similar looking "mushroom" filter (HKS mushroom knockoff) and the filter literally just broke up and got ****ed into his engine. Not a fun repair afterwards...

no its not. an intake filter is bigger. that, is one of those breather filters that a lot of people put on the side of the engine.

I didn't notice how small it was relative to the pic. It's a small breather filter I see. Either way, looks ugly and stay away from the larger versions of those lol.
