Hey everyone, I have an 03 Accord V6 and I'm going to do a 3x drain and refill of the transmission fuild. I also want to change the transmission filter(part # 25450-RAY-003) and was wondering if I should change the filter before or after I do the 3x drain and refill? I was thinking after I complete the 3x drain and refill would be best. What do you guys think?

Thanks guys for the help with the filter question. I have another question that's not related to the filter, when doing the 3x drain and refill, do you drive the car for several miles or just run it through the gears in the driveway between each drain and refill?

You need to drive the car for several miles, making sure to go through all the gears including reverse a few times. I would actually drive the car at least a week between changes. I don't like the idea of doing drain and fills that close together, because it seems like you are draining the fluid you just put in, and not getting any real use from it. Seems like a waste of expensive transmission fluid if you don't put at least some miles on it.
