So I wouldn't even know where to start to find this out.

Would the brakes from a CTR fit behind stock Sport 19" Accord wheels? The CTR runs on 20" wheels and the rotors are bigger: CTR 13.8"/12.0" F/R, Accord 12.3"/11.1" F/R. So I don't think they would fit?

Anyone who is super smart on this stuff, let me know!

the bigger issue i see is getting the rest of the wheel hub and supporting suspension onto the accord. dont have the slightest idea what it looks like under a ctr but if the honda gods love us theyll let them bolt up directly like eg/integras did. but then arent the the ctr 5x120? and arent we still 5x114 like hondas usually are? so then the next problem assuming it bolts up is getting your stock wheels back onto the ctr hubs lol. personally if i went ctr hubs tho i would love to run ctr wheels just because that would be a statement on its own

Type R Brake swap on Accord?

Picking up 2.0t this week and was wondering if anyone has looked into swapping the brakes from the Type R to the Accord.. I would assume you would need new rotors as the size is probably different.. Anyone with any info would be greatly appreciated..

Thanks,

Anything is possible but I’d pass on fitting Civic brakes on an Accord. The Type R has Brembo brake rotors and calipers. Find a set that fits and install.

Was hoping someone has attempted this by now or has at least more information on whether or not it's possible. Maybe just a Brembo/StopTech/Wilwood big brake kit upgrade instead?

Type r calipers and 350z brembo rotors will clear 2019 sport 2.0t rims.
The only problem is getting a custom mounting bracket to attach the caliper to the knuckle.
If you can find someone good with CNC should be an easy job.

You don't need to replace anything else but you can't use type r rotors because it's 5x120.

How about RL calipers with 350z rotors? This place sells a kit to make them fit

Would you have to use RL brake lines also ?
