Hi, I have a 2005 EX-L v6 Sedan and was wondering if the 06-07 Sedan/coupe Bumper would fit my car. I wanted to put fogs on my car but my dad was lazy to cut the hole for me. My other question is, would it be easier to just cut the hole, because it seems like alot of work on the PDF manual, OR (assuming that it fits) would it be easier to buy a new bumper and waste money.

dang i would need a new grille too? that sucks. would anyone know how much a new grille would run for? anyone think it would just be easier to cut the hole in the current bumper. He is a body mechanic, nad his body shop does repair HONDA's only being that the receive the Honda's from the BUENA PARK HONDA down the street. but i guess he doesn't want to ruin the bumper if he cuts it wrong.

You would need more than a new grille for this conversion.

I have a 2004 EX-L sedan (without fogs) whose front bumper was damaged and requires replacement. I've decided to replace it with a 2006 sedan front bumper. Besides the grille (about $32 OEM), you would need the two fog light panels, two new side supports, a new license plate bracket, and new bumper reinforcements. The total upgrade from a 2004 to a 2006 front bumper is about $110.00 in parts, including the grille, but not including labor. That's what I recall offhand from the shop's estimate, which was described to me in detail by the shop owner yesterday, but I don't have the estimate in front of me now so I'm going by memory.

Hope this helps you.

Yea, I was gona' say, if you can get those parts so cheap, please let me know, I want a rear bumper tail lights and a trunk. I wold certainly be doing it if it was as cheap as a hundred bucks or so.

Well, a few years ago, I purchased a second OEM grille for my 04' EX-L sedan from the dealership, and was astounded to learn that this piece of plastic (minus the H emblem) was selling between $25 and $30 (I can't recall offhand the exact price).

At the time, I removed the original OEM grille on my car and modified the second grille to have a BMW emblem within the "H". (Putting flame suit on) :paranoid: It's been shown in other pictures all over the Internet.

So I know these OEM grilles are pretty inexpensive from the dealership.

I'll post the pics after I get the car repaired next week, posing next to it dressed in cap and gown (for my graduation next week)!!

very interesting. all that just for a new bumper. maybe ill just go with cutting the hole for the fog light. ALSO, still interested to know if you guys think cutting it or buying a complete new bumper would be easier.

Here are some pics of an 2006 bumper on my debadged 2004 EX-L. Enjoy!

The car has 53K miles on it and has been freshly polished and waxed.
